Laura May Haggerty Owner/Supervisor

Laura May Haggerty is the granddaughter of founder William R. May. Laura, who is proud to carry on her family tradition, earned both an academic degree at York College of Pennsylvania and a degree in Mortuary Science from the Community College of Baltimore County. She joined the William R. May Funeral Home in 2004 and became a licensed Funeral Director in 2006 and is Supervisor of the Glenside Location.

Timothy P. McLoone Owner/Supervisor

Tim joined the staff of the William R. May Funeral Home in October of 2021 as a Full Time Funeral Director and Certified Celebrant.  Born and Raised in Glenside, he graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School in 2001, York College of Pennsylvania in 2005 and later earned his degree in Funeral Service Education from Northampton Community College in 2008.  Licensed both in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, he is proud to be back serving  the families of Glenside, North Wales, and surrounding communities. Tim is Supervisor of the North Wales Location.

Harry M. May Funeral Director

Harry M. May is the son of founder William R. May. Harry grew up working alongside his father. After attending Mount Saint Mary’s College, Harry continued his studies in New York at the American Academy McAllister Institution of Funeral Service, and graduated in 1974. He received his Pennsylvania Funeral Directing License in 1975.

Christine May Rafferty Funeral Director

Christine May Rafferty is the granddaughter of William R. May and daughter of Harry M. May. Christine graduated from Gwynedd Mercy High School and with a degree in business from The University of Tampa in 2010 and went on to study at The American Academy McAllister Institution of Funeral Service where she graduated in April of 2013. She joined the May Funeral Home in 2011 and obtained her certification of licensed Funeral Director in June of 2014.
